Erika Luceri Johnson is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant, practicing dermatology since 2007. A native of South Florida, Erika graduated from Pine Crest School and then attended the University of Florida, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She continued her education, earning both of her master’s degrees with honors, first from Florida International University, where she received her Master’s in Public Health, and then from Nova Southeastern University for her Master’s in Physician Assistant.
Erika began her career at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, receiving specialized training in pediatric dermatology, including the management and treatment of birthmarks, hemangiomas, molluscum, warts, acne, rashes, eczema and more. After six years in pediatric dermatology, Erika transitioned to general dermatology, treating patients of all ages.
She enjoys spending time with her patients, educating them on sun safety, skin cancer prevention and rejuvenation. In addition to her 15 years of clinical experience, Erika has been the sub-investigator for more than 25 clinical trials, giving her an edge on the newest dermatology medications. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Society of Dermatology of Physician Assistants.
Erika enjoys spending her free time with her husband and three children traveling, boating, attending concerts and sporting events.
